- Speech recognition trigger:
- Removed active internet connectivity check; note that your selected speech recogniser may still require connectivity for its operations and/or to download any offline files..
- Improved handling when no speech recognisers are available now include two suggestions:
- Google TTS
- Futo STT
- Added one time prompt to request permission to display notifications; Aims to increase exposure to users utilising the Wear OS companion app may not be aware that transcriptions sent from watch > phone additionally trigger a notification.
- Addresses missing fallback Material3 colour on older devices sdk <= 28.
- About app animation colours and text colours revised to improve readability.
- Target + compile SDK changed to 36 (Google Play Store policy requirement), minimum SDK target remains at 23.
